Interruption of Service: Online stores, USPS and UPS shall not be liable for any interruption of service due to causes beyond its control, including, but not limited to, the following: the unavailability or refusal of a person to accept delivery of the shipment; acts of God; acts of public authorities acting with actual or apparent authority; acts or omissions of customs or similar authorities; insufficient information provided by a customer; the application of security regulations imposed by the government, or otherwise applicable to the shipment; riots, strikes or other labor disputes; civil unrest; disruptions in air or ground transportation networks and natural disasters.
Holiday Shipping Info
In observance of the Easter holiday we will close at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday March 20th & we will be closed on Friday March 21st.
All orders needed for Easter must be placed by Thursday March 20th before 2:00pm EST and shipped via UPS Next Day Air.
Expedited Shipping Information
(Effective 03/09/2007) Deadline for orders requiring UPS Next Day, 2nd Day, or 3 Day Select delivery is 2:00 PM EST (Eastern Standard Time) for items in stock. Expedited Orders placed after 2:00 PM will ship by the end of the next business day for items in stock. UPS Next Day, 2nd Day, or 3 Day Select orders placed on a Friday after 2:00 PM EST will ship the following Monday.
Shipping costs are calculated at time of checkout by our shopping cart, based on the weight of your order and the method of shipment.
We ship to all US States, US Territories, and to Canada only.
Transit time
Shipments are made by UPS, FedEx or mail from our warehouse in Pittsburgh PA. The below diagram show the typical transit time by UPS. Days are business days from when we ship your order, and do not include weekend or holidays like Thanksgiving. Please add 1 - 2 working days from when you place your orders for us to process, package and ship it. Packages being shipped USPS Priority Mail or First Class Mail can take up to three weeks for delivery.
We ship most orders via United Parcel Service unless otherwise requested. Very light orders less than 2 lbs may be shipped by mail.
We strive to ship within two business days. Sometimes a delay will occur if we are out of stock or if it is something we normally don't stock i.e. large state and world flags. Other items do list shipping time on their specific web pages. In this case, special orders will ship within 5-7 business days. Expedited orders only will be notified of any delays.
UPS does not deliver on the weekends unless you order special Saturday delivery at extra cost. Please contact us to arrange this.

Which Shipping Option is best?
FedEx Ground - FedEx Ground is a competitively priced service that provides reliable, day-definite delivery of your packages up to 150 lbs. to U.S. businesses and homes. Average delivery time: 1–5 business days within the contiguous U.S. and 3–7 business days to and from Alaska and Hawaii. Monday–Friday delivery is by the end of the business day. FedEx Ground cannot deliver to P.O. boxes or APOs.
UPS ground - best if you are not in a rush and the shipment weighs more than 1 or 2 lbs. UPS has very good tracking. UPS ground reaches the entire continental US plus HI and AK. Do not use for APO or PO boxes
Mail - is normally the cheapest shipping option for smaller orders less than $20 or 1lb weight. Mail is expensive for heavier shipments. Not a good method for flagpoles. This is the only option if you are shipping to an APO or PO Box. Use for all US zip codes, APO and PO boxes, plus US territories Puerto Rico, Guam & Virgin Islands. WE SHIP TO APO and FPO addresses. PLEASE CHOOSE U.S. PRIORITY MAIL ONLY. THIS IS THE ONLY WAY TO SHIP TO APO and FPO addresses. YOU CAN NOT OPT FOR A FASTER SERVICE. PACKAGE MUST GO VIA USPS PRIORITY MAIL.
UPS 3 Day Select - takes 3 days and costs more than Ground. Good if you are West Coast and need the item in 3 days. US only. Do not choose for APO's and FPO's.
UPS 2 Day Air - costs a lot more than ground. Arrives by the end of the second business day after we ship. US only. Do not choose for APO's and FPO's.
UPS Next Day Air Saver - gets to you by the end of the next business day after we ship. US only. Do not choose for APO's and FPO's.
UPS Next Day Air - get guaranteed overnight delivery for day-definite shipments. US only. Do not choose for APO's and FPO's.
Alaska, Hawaii and APO Addresses
Shipments to Hawaii and Alaska can now be shipped by UPS Ground, FedEx Ground or US mail. UPS ground is normally cheaper unless the item is very light. For APO and FPO addresses please select the US Mail shipping option, as this is the only option available. In some cases our shipping calculator may underestimate the actual shipping costs if the package is oversized. In this case we will notify you of any additional charges before shipping. You may cancel your order at this point without penalty.
USPS and Oversized Packages
Due to the new USPS rate changes, we reserve the right to ship any oversized package using UPS or FedEx to prevent additional shipping charges to our customers. Any package over one cubic foot (12x12x12 ft.) is considered oversized.
Freight Charges
Large One Piece Flagpole - As these flagpoles ship by truck out of different locations based on availability, our calculator is not able to calculate the exact freight charges. Please call us for a firm freight quote. If you select this shipping option you will get a very approximate freight cost based on the value of the shipment. You may also place the order using any shipping method and we will contact you with the actual cost. You may cancel the order at that point without any penalty.
Shipping to Canada
Online Stores Inc is registered as a non resident Canadian Taxpayer. We collect both Provincial Sales Tax ( PST ) and Goods & Service Tax ( GST ) when you place an order. The goods arrive tax paid which means you do not get any additional charges or fees when you receive your merchandise.
