But is there really a flag that speaks to your unique lifestyle and the things you hold dear? Now there can be with the advancement of custom flag making.
Now certain flag manufacturers and design shops will offer their services at an affordable price to deliver custom made flags from small stick size to large 5 feet by 8 feet to satisfy customer's personal styles. Currently there are two popular ways of manufacturing custom flags: digitally printed nylon flags and custom super knit polyester flags. Depending on your budget and display needs you can research each method to see what works best for you.
Digitally printed nylon flags are a more expensive way to produce a very vibrant out door or in door nylon banner. This process involves you submitting images in EPS (encapsulated postscript document) format in a resolution that is at least 300 dpi (dots per inch). EPS format is a file that is usable as graphics file format and dpi refers to the number of individual dots or pixels that can be produced within a linear one-inch space. Most printers will also accept standard Tif or Jpeg files but be sure to ask first before submitting a file. Don't let the technical jargon intimidate you, all you have to do is take a photo of your baby, teenager, husband, wife or pet and scan it into a file. Send that file to the manufacturer and they'll do the rest. Digital printing allows for full color images and photos to be reproduced with no color limits on durable nylon fabric so you can have a custom flag of your smiling newborn, precious kitty or favorite image to fly proudly in your home or outside during nice weather.
For a more affordable though slightly less detailed image choose a super knit polyester flag that is made of a more durable fabric than nylon and will last longer and fade less and be more adaptable to inclement weather. Special high tech super knit polyester is very strong and durable and still holds the true color of your original image. Most manufacturers can offer sizes ranging from 4 inch by 6 inch stick flags up to 5 feet by 8 feet banner flags.
