disappointed it was plastic.
description said it was "weighted" . . . . did not understand that it was "weighted" by the sand that was sent with the plastic base (which is not easy or fun putting into the plastic base)/ BUT works ok, just not what we were expecting.
I wish I read the reviews here before I purchased this stand.
I thought I was buying a better quality stand for $40. 00 more. Not the case. I think this is a bait and switch where the only difference is a bag of sand for $40. 00. There is probably $2. 00 worth of sand. Do not Buy this stand.
I was very disappointed in this product.
The stand is a light PLASTIC (it will never hold up)--if I had known it was not metal and substantial I would never have considered it--this was not disclosed in the description! Also, the ""weighted"" aspect of it is that they include 11 pounds of SAND--I paid $40 in shipping for SAND! I could have easily gotten SAND here for almost nothing. POOR QUALITY!

"DO NOT BUY. Cheap plastic filled with sand. Sand leaks through the threads on the bottom and spills onto the carpet."
"However, I assumed it was the same as the base on the flag kit I ordered so I could match it with an existing flag. My error in not checking with your company. All is corrected now with a replacement order. Your company was very helpful. Thanks"
