3x5 ft Canadian Flag

We all know the iconic Canadian flag with its red stripes and 11-point maple leaf on it, but did you know that the provinces and territories of Canada have their own flags just like the states do in the U.S.? Well, they do! And we are happy to offer you this beautiful 3ft by 5ft nylon flag of the Canadian province, New Brunswick. This flag features a gold lion on the top red field, this field covers a third of the flag, an old single mast ship with two red flags atop a gold field, sailing on blue and white lines depicting the sea. The New Brunswick flag was officially adopted not long after the modern flag of Canada was inaugurated in 1965. Made of nylon which is a great material for flying your flag outdoors, as it is lightweight yet durable and just so happens to have the nickname as the "all weather flag." This ensures that you will not only be able to see your flag wave in the air with ease but also look great doing it for quite some time.

Other Canadian Province Flags

At the United States Flag Store, we are proud to have such a vast selection of flags on deck fit for any individual, need and occasion. We also carry other Canadian Province flags that include, Yukon, Saskatchewan, Quebec, Prince Edward Islands, Ontario, New Foundland, Manitoba, British Columbia and Alberta.

What was the Canadian flag before 1965? Canadian Red Ensign

The flag primarily used in Canada prior to 1965 was what was known as the Canadian Red Ensign. This flag had a Union Jack, the flag of the United Kingdom in the upper left corner on a red field with the shield of Canada. This was used on naval vessels as well as on land. The Union Jack and even the flag of France would also be used throughout the country's infancy as well.

What does the Canadian flag look like? Colors and image

The national flag of Canada has used a 1:2:1 ratio for its colors in a red, white, red fashion and there is a red 11-point maple leaf in the center of the white square.

Why is there a maple leaf on Canada flag? A Symbol of Canada?

The maple leaf would make its way into popular culture such as, books, songs and coins in the early 1900's. The image of the maple leaf would be associated strongly with being Canadian and was even used on the headstones of Canadian service men and women that had served and died during the two World Wars.

What do the 11 points on the Canadian flag mean?

The 11 points on the maple leaf on the Canadian flag carry no significant meaning. The number of points on the maple leaf were downsized from 13 to 11, merely because this made the image appear clearer from a distance with this change.

Restrictions

Common Carrier & Freight Shipping

Items that are too large to ship by standard ground carrier such as UPS or FedEx are required to ship freight. Orders and items that are shipped by freight are delivered on a large truck, such as a 26 ft. box truck or a tractor-trailer.

  • Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number that has an estimated delivery date to your local freight terminal.
  • The carrier will call you at your provided phone number to schedule a delivery appointment within the next 1-2 business days. Only weekday appointments are available. If you are unable to receive the shipment within 1-2 business days of its arrival at the freight terminal, contact us at 1-877-732-2458
  • All standard freight shipments are delivered curbside. The driver will bring the item to the curb and is not authorized to move it further. Anything past curbside delivery must be arranged before placing the order.
  • Most freight orders are delivered on a pallet. If you do not have a dock height delivery door, you most likely will require a truck with a lift gate. This is an additional charge and can be added to your order at the time it is placed. Please call 1-877-732-2458 for additional information.
  • Upon delivery, you will need to inspect and sign for the shipment. Prior to signing, any visible damage to the shipment and products, along with any missing items, must be noted on the delivery receipt. We need to be notified of product damage and missing parts within one business day of receiving your shipment.

Freight Charges

Commercial Flagpoles - As these flagpoles ship by truck out of different locations based on availability, our calculator is not able to calculate the exact freight charges. Please call us for a firm freight quote. If you select this shipping option you will get a very approximate freight cost based on the value of the shipment. You may also place the order using any shipping method and we will contact you with the actual cost. You may cancel the order at that point without any penalty. We do not ship commercial poles to Alaska or Hawaii.

Promotional Rules

Custom Flags, Commercial Flagpoles, Select Residential Poles, Galvanized Ground Sleeves, and Commercial Sectionals are excluded from promotional offers unless otherwise specified within the promotion. Whether listed as excluded within the promotion or not there are no exceptions, or implied promotions for listed products above.

Interruption of Service

Online Stores, USPS and UPS shall not be liable for any interruption of service due to causes beyond its control, including, but not limited to, the following: the unavailability or refusal of a person to accept delivery of the shipment; acts of God; acts of public authorities acting with actual or apparent authority; acts or omissions of customs or similar authorities; insufficient information provided by a customer; the application of security regulations imposed by the government, or otherwise applicable to the shipment; riots, strikes or other labor disputes; civil unrest; disruptions in air or ground transportation networks and natural disasters.

Economy Shipping Takes 3-10 Business Days and Is Not Guaranteed

Transit Times

Shipments are made by UPS, FedEx, or US mail from our warehouse in Pittsburgh, PA. Days of transit are business days from when we ship your order, depending on which delivery method you choose, and do not include weekend or holidays like Thanksgiving.

We strive to ship within same day on orders that are placed by 1:00 PM EST. Sometimes a delay will occur if we are out of stock or if it is something we normally don't stock i.e. large state and world flags. Other items do list shipping time on their specific web pages. In this case, special orders will ship within 5-7 business days. Expedited orders only will be notified of any delays.

Delivery will not be made on a weekend unless special Saturday delivery is arranged. This service is available at an extra cost to certain areas specified by our carriers. Please contact us for availability to make arrangements.

Which Shipping Option is best?

  • Economy – This method is best if you are not in a rush. Economy shipping will work for USPS PO Boxes, APO and FPO addresses. This will include shipping methods of UPS & FedEx Ground & USPS.
  • 3 Day - Takes 3 days for delivery and costs more than Economy. This option is good if you are on the west coast and need your order within 3 days. 3 Day shipping is available to US only and cannot be used for APO or FPO addresses.
  • 2 Day – Takes 2 days for delivery and costs much more than Economy. Orders shipped via this method arrive by the end of the second business day after shipping. 2 Day shipping is available to US only and cannot be used for APO or FPO addresses.
  • Next Day – Next Day shipping offers guaranteed overnight delivery for day-definite shipments. Next Day shipping is available to US only and cannot be used for APO or FPO addresses.
  • Alaska, Hawaii and APO Addresses - Shipments to Hawaii and Alaska can now be shipped by Economy. In some cases our shipping calculator may underestimate the actual shipping costs if the package is oversized. In this case we will notify you of any additional charges before shipping. You may cancel your order at this point without penalty.
