Sudan was once the largest country in Africa, until they decided to split into north and south, to stop conflict and gain peace. The flag of Sudan consists of the pan-Arab colors - a horizontal tricolor of red, white and black, with a green isosceles triangle at the hoist end. The red represents socialism, green is the traditional color of Islam, white is symbolic of purity and optimism, and black stands for Sudan itself (Sudan means black in Arabic). Our Sudan flag is designed for active outdoor use. The flag comes with double stitched side seams and a strong, white header finishing. It is made from pure nylon and it measures 2 x 3 feet.
