Work great but don't last long.

I have used about five sets of these mounts and am very pleased with their ability to keep the flag unfurled (the only devices that have worked at all for me); however, they don't last very long. A previous reviewer pointed out that you should not tighten them too tightly to the pole and he is correct. They have lasted longer using this tip, but they still end up breaking. Another tip: after a little use and exposure to the weather, the mounts tend to lose some of their swiveling properties. I have found that a light application of cooking oil spray keeps them working well (until they break).

      Rotating flag rings

Posted by Rotating-Flag-mounting Rings-Set of two on Oct 31st 2019

My original flag mounting rings wore out after a year and a half due to lots of exposure to wind and rain. The new replacements fit perfectly, look great and act correctly. The price was right and delivery was quick.

      PLASTIC CAN BREAK

Posted by Flaggie on Sep 3rd 2019

Do not screw the rings onto the pole too tightly; rings can break.
Space the rings so the clips hang DOWN, without pulling to either side, and they will
swivel nicely. I added a third ring to my flag, and now it hangs even better!

      Works just as advertised

I was looking for something to keep my flag from winding around the pole. These rings are great. Easy to install and work great in all different types of wind as I found out last week. Had 20 to 30 mile an hour winds and never had to unwind my flag. Would recommend them to others.

      inexpensive, works marginally

Product is inexpensive and sturdy but does have some issues with swiveling freely on the flag pole.

      Great Option

Posted by Shiney on Feb 14th 2019

These are a great option over using a banner mount flag.
I still use the banner style pole with the original clip at the top and by adding one of these mounted lower, can now use a standard two eyelet flag. The flag no longer wraps around the pole either. Just be sure not to mount ring with flag pulled too taught, or it will bind.

      Limited applicabilty.

My application is on a flagpole inclined ~30 degrees from vertical. It does not work satisfactorily in this application.
