Material Selection Guide: Nylon vs. Polyester
Nylon The preferred all-weather choice. Its lightweight nature ensures the flag "flies" in minimal wind conditions and sheds water rapidly, making it ideal for standard daily use.
Sewn Polyester Recommended for extreme, high-wind, or coastal environments. While heavier, the 2-ply open-weave construction offers maximum abrasion resistance for 24/7 display applications. View our Sewn Polyester American Flag collection for extreme-weather solutions.
FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Does this flag come with grommets?
No, this version is specifically designed for banner-style mounting and features a pole hem and internal tab for use on decorative flagpoles. -
Is this flag suitable for 24/7 outdoor use?
While this 200D nylon flag is designed for daily outdoor display, we recommend our 2-Ply Spun Polyester flags for 24/7 exposure in high-wind or coastal environments. -
How do I prevent my flag from fraying?
Our flags feature 4-row lock-stitching on the fly end to mitigate damage; however, for maximum longevity, we advise taking the flag down during severe weather events or high-velocity wind warnings.

Replaced the flag that came
"Replaced the flag that came with a pole. Old one got stuck a lot. This is so much better in every way. Doesn't take a lot of wind to fly and is out by the street on my mail box post. Can't say enough of the fine quality that it is made. Great flag."

"The flag is fine. The pole is the cheapest thinwalled tube in existence. It did not last past the first wind storm"
I am most dissatisfied with
"I am most dissatisfied with United States Flag Store. The flag I ordered was too big for my flag stand. I asked if they had smaller which they did not so I asked to return it. When they sent me the label, etc. I was being charged to return which I was most certainly not happy with. I will not deal with this operation again."
