It is the envy of my subdivision!
I was hesitant when I ordered this in September of 2019. There were no reviews at that time, with the cost of shipping it was not a small expense, and customer service was not too impressive. However, I spoke to ‘Susan’ (I think) and she resolved my concerns. I live in a very windy location and, unlike my neighbor, I did not want to have to take my flag down every time the wind blows. So, the wind rating was a very important factor. The pole arrived in excellent condition, installation was much easier than anticipated, and it looks GRAND! After researching the durability, I opted for the anodized bronze to blend in with the coloring of my home. Since the installation, several neighbors have commented on how nice it looks. I’ve had it for 7 months now and it still looks new. The winter winds had no effect on it at all. The average/year-round wind speed here is 19.5 mph. Today’s forecast says gusts around 40 mph, and occasional gusts in the 60s to 70s are not too unusual. Nevertheless, I have not had to lower my flag for the weather once. (Yes, it is lighted at night.) This has proved to be a great investment. And, as a Vet, I am proud to be able to fly our flag. After 9/11 we saw flags in front of every home. Where have they all gone? If you are hesitating, don’t wait. Fly our flag!
