Spun Polyester is the most durable American flag on the market. The open weave reduces fabric stress and resists high winds. These flags are the best choice if you fly the flag 24/7 and your wind speed is higher. As these flags are made from heavier fabric they require a higher wind speed to "fly" than nylon flags. Also they require more effort to put up and take down.

I hope it last as long as the flag that came with it I have a titan 20 ft telescoping pole and it looks great up there fling 24 hr 7 days a week lighted up at night

(Batesville, IN)Our flag hangs at a slant off the side of the house. The flag was very crisp and well made. I did iron it before hanging it. We replaced an old nylon flag. The cotton/poly is heavier. Very impressed with the flag for the price. The wood pole, it is just basic, but screw-in flag clips to tend to keep the flag hanging well. Still very new - so no comment yet on long term wear, but I would expect it to do well with proper care.

I have found that a flag lasts six months in the constant wind that blows here in Fort Worth before it begins to fray. It looks great from the day that I put it up until the day I replace it.
