The 2-ply polyester looks like a coarse cotton. They are designed for outdoor use and will resist fading and fraying. These top quality 2-ply polyester flag are all 100% US made by Valley Forge using traditional 600 D spun polyester fabric. They have sewn stripes and appliquéd stars, roped canvas headings with thimble ends. Also consider Nylon American Flags which are lighter to handle and fly in lower wind speeds. They are also significantly less money to buy. But a nylon flag will fray before a spun polyester. Because of the nature of the Super Tough Material flags may be slightly longer than the size specified.

A top header is needed for displaying the flag in a horizontal position. A tough white canvas header is added across the top of the flag that has heavy duty grommets every 4 feet. Perfect for displaying indoors or out.
